What Is In-Kind Sponsorship?

In-kind sponsorship refers to the contribution of goods, materials, equipment, or professional services rather than monetary sponsorship.

Examples may include:

  • Landscaping design and installation

  • Construction services or materials

  • Architectural and engineering services

  • Irrigation systems

  • Pond installation or water features

  • Electrical or lighting services

  • Cultural craftsmanship and structural detailing

  • Event production support

  • Marketing or branding services

We welcome conversations with partners whose expertise aligns with our mission and development goals.

Recognition Benefits

In-kind sponsors may receive recognition benefits commensurate with the fair market value of the contributed goods or services.

Recognition opportunities may include:

  • Name or company recognition on sponsor display

  • Digital acknowledgment on our website

  • Invitation to preview and grand opening events

  • Commemorative recognition marker (where applicable)

  • Social media recognition (if mutually agreed)

Recognition benefits are determined prior to acceptance and documented in writing.

Project Scope – Phase 1 (10–12 Acres)

In-kind sponsorships during Phase 1 may directly support:

  • Village-style cultural structures

  • Sacred pond and surrounding gardens

  • Seasonal floral landscaping

  • Meditation and reflection pathways

  • Visitor access areas and infrastructure

  • Cultural and educational activation spaces

Our goal is to create a serene destination that reflects Hmong heritage while offering beauty, reflection, and community gathering.

Important Disclosures

Garden of Living Legacy is a privately owned, for-profit cultural and wellness destination currently in development.

In-kind sponsorship:

  • Does not constitute a charitable donation

  • Does not provide tax-deductible status

  • Does not confer equity, ownership, or financial return

  • Does not create partnership or joint venture rights

All in-kind sponsorship arrangements are subject to written agreement prior to project integration.

Valuation & Agreement Process

Before acceptance, we will:

  1. Determine the fair market value of the goods or services

  2. Outline agreed recognition benefits

  3. Execute a written in-kind sponsorship agreement

  4. Confirm timeline and scope integration into Phase 1 development

This ensures clarity, professionalism, and alignment for all parties.
